You really have to get a look at the certs for Evelyn , the birth one for all the details on it and the marriage cert for ages and for witnesses to the marriage.

auntie polly(could be mary) , uncle joe, uncle jack, bert (could we be albert) are what they can remember.

is there anyone that can help me track evelyns family please

death date is febuary 1985<<<< my husband went to this he was 11 years old.
Marriage date was 1933 same year my husbands auntie jean was born . then brothers and sister was born as i have already said.

I did find out that the Mary Jane laverick 1920 death was 1925 I know that wasn't the right one, so maybe your right and maybe a lot more searching for me !!!!!!!

Lisa, I think the Hatton side is fairly straightforward mainly due to Silas's more unusual name and the not so common maiden surname of his mother.

Evelyn Laverick is a completely different kettle of fish. You need to see her marriage certificate and that possible birth certificate to check out all the details on them. Like Rose, I am leaning towards the theory that she was maybe illegitimate and one of Robert and Elizabeth's daughters is actually her mother and the daughter has given her mother's maiden surname to save face.

Oh and yes, you have the same as me. I only posted the deaths to give you some of the middle names in case you didn't have them :-)
