I'm also frustrated that I can't find the marriage of Henry and Eliza to discover her maiden name! |

Thanks Gins and Polly Poppet. They look promising. I know that Henry and Eliza had another son - Richard Joseph Forbes b 2 Apr 1891, d 22 Aug 1952 so Henry would still have been alive. The possible 1901 census looks right because Eliza is shown as widowed, but I have no record of William or Mary |
