Could anyone please help me fill in the gap. Christopher Brewer joined H.M.S. Minotaur Sept 1803 at the age of 27 and was still there till it was destroyed off Texel 1810. I wonder if anyone could let me know if he was on any other ships previously or elsewhere. or if he married ( Ive' been to NA and read That muster Roll) Thank you |

There is this death of a Susanna Brewer aged 79, in 1820, in the same parish of St Nicolas, Gt Yarmouth. If this was Christopher's mother, it would mean she didn't marry until she was aged about 34/35 yrs. There is no mention as to marital status or whether she was the wife or widow of John, so hard to know if she is Christopher's mother: |

This is the only baptism I could find for a Susanna Daines or like, in Norfolk, but I have no idea if she is the Susanna Daines you believe to be Christopher's mother: |

If Christopher's sister Susanna was the one I posted as baptised 1780, and if she died as a spinster, then this MIGHT be her death in 1847: |

The other children baptised to a John and Susanna Brewer at St Nicolas after Chritopher in 1776, and the marriage prior to that of Sarah Daines to John Brewer in 1775. It would appear William, who you say is a child of Sarah Daines, was born after Christopher, and Susanna later still? |
