It does look to be the same family as on 1901 - they have a Charles, a Thomas and a Henry of the right ages but Shae said they were not together on 1911 as the 2 boys were in a home ???

Heya Dea :-) Hope you're well. I missed your first post. I found the date on a relatives tree but I don't know how he came about it. Taylor isn't his line of family. I've searched for 'bantam' regiments as both Charles and Thomas were in one apparently but access is limited. Yes, that's the census records i have of them Dea. Charles and Thomas aren't on the 1911 census with their father as they had been put into a catholic orphanage. I know my grandad, Charles Richard Taylor was born on 15/01/1895. Shae x

Hi Ricochet Thankyou for your time, it's much appreciated. Yes I've looked there but I know so little about him. He hasn't got a middle name as far as i know so I'm assuming he is the first you have listed. I actually have that he died on the 24/09/1917 in France while fighting.

Hi there RG and Dea Hope you're both well and having a lovely summer. I have been trying to get info re my gt uncle. Thomas Taylor B1898 Marylebone d 1915? 1917? fighting in WW1 France. My grandfather Charles Richard Tatlor B 1895 d1970. Parents Charles Taylor and Annie Barrett. Annie died not long after Thomas' birth. Both my grandfather Charles and his younger brother Thomas fought in France in an army corp that consisted of Bantams' They enlisted in London and fought together. My grandfather Charles seeing Thomas blown up. Both Charles and Thomas were put into a catholic orphanage after my gt grandfather remarried. He and his new wife had a son together Henry? I think. Any info would be wonderful. Kind regards Shae
