i am looking for details for TERRANCE COSGROVE born 1875 in Ireland Tallaughan duff , he married ELLEN CONWAY in 1901 in Northumberland area in Newcastle Upon Tyne and had I believe there were 12 children i have found some details off the 1911 census and 1901 , but unable to find details before if anyone could help it would be great , Terrance is my Great Grandfather . I would also like to find out about ELLEN CONWAY as i know she lived with her Uncle and Great Aunt but unable to find out about her parents, thank you for looking I just cant seem to find the right info . regards Jennifer

Sibby is a shortened version of Sib/Seb/Sabina.....

Regarding the info on Ellen Conway, the fathers name would be Conway so then Ellen born 1859 would not be her mother as she would have a different married name or am I wrong. So would there be another sibling to William and Winifred who would be Ellens father. My sights have not offerered any of the indepth info you have provided so it is of big help.

Why do you assume that Ellen born 1878 was legitimate? I don't think she was. Why do you think she is never shown as living with her parent(s)?

given the age she is in a the 1901 and 1891 census I gather it works that she was born around that time, but as you say I think I will invest and buy the certificates . thanks for the help

William Conway married Winefred Weir Reg.Sept. quarter 1854 Stockton.
William is listed on the 1851 Census for Hartlepool but I don't have access to check out details...cant find Winefred..(Her Christian name has been transcribed various ways)
I would imagine there were more children that subsequent Census show...but you really do need to get some Certs. to make sure you are not looking at the wrong family.
