...in case it helps.... the 'National Library of NZ' (Auckland) (on-line) has an 'Ask Us' librarian service. They will check their records incl electoral rolls- past & present ...and possibly newspaper death notices. |

Hi Just found the death details for Jane Trigger 1940 aged 84 born abt 1856 Stalybridge Manchester arrived in Australia about 1874 aged 18 married on 20/11/1875? New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand aged 19 |

Ian - one thing about that marriage I found to a Mary Johnson, I strongly suspect that it was John Trigger snr who married her. There's a death for a Mary Trigger in 1885 aged 53, I think she'd be a bit old for the son! Ellen Trigger died 1871. |
