Thank you Reggie and others for all your help on the various boards. I am going to discontinue my membership of Genes Reunited at the end of June and take a look at FMP and Ancestry. |

Ah yes - I hadn't spotted that. You are quite right of course about the certificates but I just need to be sure that I'm sending for the certs for the right people before I get started on that. |

I would never use GR for research. Virtually all of the members who help on the boards use Ancestry or FMP. I currently use the latter. |

Hi Reggie - Just trying to make all the fascinating stuff above add up but failing so far. I have now discovered that William H Turner b 1852 Sheffield on the 1901 census and married to Eliza Turner b 1848 in Hull is correct. I have him in 1891 census with the same wife and then in the 1881 census with Rose b 1851. Her death in 1907 doesn't seem to fit in with this. |
