There are quite a few trees on ancestry with Abel married to Elinor Mason b 1727 in Sedgley in 1748. |

That's ok, there are just too many of them! I need to go back to the start. It's frustrating as I can't find susannah aston, born Dover anywhere. :-) |

I would be very suspicious of a birth that far from staffordshire or shropshire. They didn't travel far in those days. The family moved to wolverhampton at some point before the hunts moved to newport to work in the iron snd steel industry |
