In a search for Nimrod senior b1827 I found a 1841 census page which I didn't understand
lt had his brothers George Gardner aged 15 , Edward Gardner aged 10, Thomas Burbidge aged 15,Susannah Burbidge aged 35 william Hall aged 15,Ann Hickman age 25
I couldn't see any way of telling how these people were related ,who was head of household or any professions ...any light to throw on this ?

Relationships to head of household weren't described in the 1841 census, and ages of over 15s were meant to be. were rounded down to the nearest 5 years
Looking at the image, occupations are as follows:
Member of household Occupation/Employment/or of independent means
Susanannah Burbidge Ind.
Thomas Burbidge -
Ann Hickman F. S.
Mary Boyson .F. S.
George Gardner M. S.
Edward Gardner M. S.
My best guess is that F.S and M.S are female servant and man servant respectively, and that they worked for Ann Burbidge who was of independent means and that Thomas Burbidge was probably her son.

I have a very distant connection to Nimrod Gardiner - probably too distant to be of interest but in case it's of use to know more about his daughter's husband's line please contact me. (My connection is that Thomas Mawdsley's mother, Margaret Smith, was my 3g-grandfather's youngest sibling. I have a copy of Margaret's father's will, in which he leaves property to her.)
If you have any information on the Smiths of Bury, e.g. Margaret's father, as listed below, please let me know.
