I am trying to trace Louis Christian Jensen knows as Louis. I believe he was born in Copenhagen Denmark around 1868. He had a brother called Theodore. He was possible a sailor and came to Tyneside where he married Sarah Eleanor Jackson in 1896. The family I think then moved to the Wallsend area of Northumberland where there was plenty of employment. They had children, Joseph Louis, Thomas P, May Victoria, Charles Frederick and George was born around 1911 after his father was .... According to family "lost at sea" or possibly moved on! Jensen is the most common name in Denmark so very hard to find. Any help would be very much appreciated. |

K - thanks, that 1911 census is the family all names changed to Johnson. Louis Christian has 'gone' but census date is April and baby George due September that year. Interesting she has changed their name as they were Jensen in the 1901 census. |

A lion tamer in the family would be much more fun than a sailor! |

Because I still haven't managed to find an answer and hoped that someone else may be able to help or that more information is now available a year later. |
