If Carrie born 1883 and Ester Ackroyd born 1876 are related to Maria then I don't think they were sisters.

Carrie and Esther's father was Edwin born 1856, he remarries in the early 1890's to Mary Jane. On the 1901 census there is 4 children to that marriage, the 1911 census also confirms it, however there is no Maria born to them!!

Think you'll need to buy the marriage certificate to see who Maria puts down as her father, I would also advise buying her birth certificate also, got a sneaky feeling she may have been illegitimate.

I agree. You need the marriage certificate as it certainly looks like Joseph Septimus Ollerenshaw Cooper is the father of Charles and Isaac (Ike) not Charles Stanley Cooper.
