I completely understand that asking for info on people that may still be with us is not appropriate. My eagerness to find all the pieces to a puzzle often takes over...Sorry |

I think it is more likely Nicola has the wrong initial - as it is Richard W that appears with them on the ERs in 1963/4. In 1963 it looks like he had just come of age. |

And the Mother's surname is Killingrey, so perhaps it is a poor record. |

No-one has asked whether Mr Barber is alive.........he may not wish to be included in the tree |

I think the marriage must have been short lived, as she appears to be with James W on the 1948 ERs under his name. Assuming this is the right couple, their address was 24 Clissold Road. |

Thanks... I was beginning to think this all to much hassle, but the help I have received from you all (including Reggie) over many years is invaluable for someone researching purely for the enjoyment of presenting a family tree to a person who is interested. |

Nicola, don't take it to heart. People have different viewpoints so conduct your research as you feel appropriate, whilst respecting the privacy of living people. |

Include his name, by all means - I didn't suggest otherwise - but he has no real relevance. |

Reggie, many people include former spouses of people in their trees - not for us to question it. |

Nicola, Reggie makes a very good point - if you're researching the family and one of those people is still alive then their permission really should be sought, plus they may be able to help you. |
