Annie's internment Birth: Jun. 5, 1907 Death: Jun. 10, 1998

Looking at other Faulk burials in that cemetery, the only one in the right age group is
Michael K. Faulk Birth: Aug. 20, 1949 Death: Dec. 8, 1979 Burial:Sacred Heart Cemetery Creole Cameron Parish Louisiana, USA However, as he is named as 'Daddy' on his headstone, why aren't grandchildren mentioned in the obit? It's unlikely that they are directly related.

On the basis that Annie lived in Cameron co most of her life, explore this Parish page
http://www.theusgenweb.org/la/cameron/
The surname link includes one person interested in the Faulks - if the email address is still current, he may be able to assist.
See if there is anything relevant on here http://www.linkpendium.com/genealogy/USA/LA/CameronP/
................
Without checking the other threads, presumably this is John
U.S. World War II Army Enlistment Records, 1938-1946 about John K Faulk Name: John K Faulk Birth Year: 1911 Race: White, citizen (White) Nativity State or Country: Louisiana State of Residence: Louisiana County or City: Cameron Enlistment Date: 28 Jan 1943 Enlistment State: Louisiana Enlistment City: Lafayette Branch: Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA Branch Code: Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA Grade: Private Grade Code: Private Term of Enlistment: Enlistment for the duration of the War or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President or otherwise according to law Component: Selectees (Enlisted Men) Source: Civil Life Education: Grammar school Civil Occupation: Surveyors Marital Status: Separated, with dependents Height: 69 Weight: 172
So he was separated by 1943. His second marriage would therefore be later than then. ..............
Ancestry is giving the following results. As John Kenneth died 1968, they obviously don't apply to him, but......??
U.S. Public Records Index, Volume 1 CITY & AREA DIRECTORIES NAME: John K Faulk RESIDENCE: 1993 - Lake Charles, LA
U.S. Public Records Index, Volume 1 CITY & AREA DIRECTORIES NAME: John K Faulk RESIDENCE: 1996 - Lake Charles, LA [Lake Charles, LA]
U.S. Phone and Address Directories, 1993-2002 TELEPHONE DIRECTORIES NAME: John K Faulk RESIDENCE: 1998 1999 - Bell City, Louisiana
U.S. Phone and Address Directories, 1993-2002 TELEPHONE DIRECTORIES NAME: John K Faulk RESIDENCE: 1996 1997 - Sweetlake, Louisiana ...........
Have another play around with the link to births previously given. TBH, if Annie had borne him a child, one would have expected the name to have been included in her obit. Her obit says she was aged 91 when she died in 1998 = born c 1907. With the assumption that she didn't marry until after 1943, she would have been aged 36+. Still within child bearing years.

I have him on 1940 census with first wife and he died on 20th January 1968. so some time between those dates for the marriage. Would also like to see if there were any children born with Annie and JK Faulk. Thanks again and kind regards Pam

Like you, our initial move would be to make an internet search.
Cameron Parish has a Library website - you might choose to contact them to see if they have anything they can let you have. Alternatively, they may be able to put you in contact with a local historical or family history society
http://www.cameron.lib.la.us/?page_id=19
At the very least, they might be able to tell you where the Carter Cash Grocery Store is/was.

For Louisiana records try searching on this link (copy and paste both lines)
http://www.sos.la.gov/HistoricalResources/ResearchHistoricalRecords /Pages/OnlinePublicVitalRecordsIndex.aspx
Keep an open mind about the exact spelling of the infant's name - if might have been a nickname, derivative of his full name or even a middle name.
Also play around with the findagrave website in the hope that he had a private burial http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi
