I am not sure if MARGARET & WILLIAM had any children we were hoping that we could locate them on the 1911 census, but it looks as if they were left off for some reason. |

1901 census says she was born c1888 in Lower Edmonton, Middlesex, so this would be her birth, but it's a few years out from the marriage cert, so William's YOB may be equally suspect: |

EMILY & ROBERT had a daughter named MARGARET FOSTER b, 1888, MARGARET married WILLIAM JOHN GIBSON in 1908 at Southwark, I have search the 1911 census for this couple and I cannot seem to find them, MARGARET was also known as MILLIE and I was wondering if their names had been misspelt, can anyone kindly help me find them? I believe WILLIAM was born in Deptford London around 1882. |

Allerton Hall/Castle was demolished in 1843 when they started to rebuild but stopped in 1856 due to lack of funds. |

The marriage certificate states married 6-10-1875 at the parish of St Laurence in the City of York ROBERT FOSTER(21) = EMILY JANE SPENCE(18) both of 8, Heslington Road, the fathers were JAMES FOSTER (Fish Hawker ) & JAMES SPENCE (Watchmaker) |
