This is the one I found, on the certificate his father was a park superintendent which I assume is the same as park keeper. |

The 3 I have found are Eliza Parry married in Nottinghamshire East Retford, Eliza Ratican married in Lancashire Prestwick and Eliza Smalley married in Lancashire Bolton. Thomas and Eliza's children are Thomas, John, Emma Elizabeth and Mary Ellen. |

Now we know the 1911 census is correct, then this may be Thomas in 1901 (it's the nearest I can see for the moment) ? |

Taking a look for an Eliza Parry in 1901 census, there is this one, with same age and place of birth as Eliza married to Thomas in 1911 census, and she is living Sheffield, so this one is looking good:- |

Billinghay, was registration district Sleaford so this could well be birth for Thomas:- |

Thanks we're applying for the birth certificate of Thomas Carter born 1910 as you say at least we will know for definite of the mother's maiden name. |

I have found a thomas carter born 1879 in the 1881census but this is for sleaford lincolnshire, would sleaford have covered billinghay does anyone know??? |
