That looks good Jean. I have come across widows using their maiden surname on the 1841 census before. |

Just going through all The Robert's with no surname and d.o.b.on Ancestry and found a Robert age 14 living with Ann Oliphant b 1796 , Address is 199, Campbells Land , Glasgow. |

This links my 1851 to Astra's 1871, so it looks like this is another Ann, my Ann's Robt can't be the Springer St Ann's Robt. |

Anne or sometimes known as Margaret was John's widow , can't find his death either . She died in Stirling Street, Glasgow, her daughter Agnes signed the death cert. |
