Hello Ena, your assumption that Ann couldn't marry John W Kirk because she was still legally married is highly likely correct. Divorce was extremely rare for ordinary people (which was why there was so much bigamy). |

Ena, when you say you only have him on his marriage lines - do you actually have the certificate? If so, what information does it give about him - his age, occupation, where he lived? What does it say about his father? |
