Joanne - I did check on some stuff relating to Beryl and George. It seems likely you know some of what I've found, so I'll not post it - I'll send my notes by pm. |

Have pm'd 'possible' children, as they are most likely still alive. |

Flip the marriage is (I think) the one I referred to above in Q3 1945 - Margaret E Richardson and William G Yates. It's in Barrow on Soar in Leicestershire. |

Have you looked to see if any of your family are in trees on here or on ancestry? |

Margaret's marriage - I think is on Freebmd - q3 1945. Gordon - is I assume - a middle name. Without having any idea of who they married, the names are far too common to be guessing |

Joanne, what site are you searching on? - the parents marriage and births for your father and his sisters all show up on the freebmd site. To find the birth regs just put Richardson in surname box and Shepherd in the spouse/mother surname box. Then select say 1918 to 1930 and all 4 births will be there. |

"I wonder if the Margaret E. If the E stands for Evelyne as I thought he called a sister Lyne and Evelyne Richardson witnessed my Baptism. I also have peen trying to find Peggy and I think that was Beryl. It is such hard work when so many of them used their second names" |
