New to building my tree and seeking info on Reuben Saunders father of Hannah Riddle
Hannah Riddle is my 2nd great Grandmother
1851 census aged 16 appears as Hannah Ridle, born chesham, living in Hawridge Chesham, occupation Straw Plaiter.
1861 census aged 27 spelt Riddel
Married Eli Final Chesham 11/11/1861 Chesham, brides fathe quoted a Reuben Saunders, labourer, witnesses, Edwin Dwight & Mary Dwight, not names I know.
There is Reuben Saunders in 1851 census living as lodger with Topping family, head of family Thomas, Burrows, Hendon , Middx - aged 42. Found on random google search
Family search, shows christening of a Reuben Saunders, 29/4/1810, Cholesbury, chesham, bucks, parents James Saunders & Elizabeth Saunders
Trying to establish, parents of Reuben and mother of Hannah Riddle
Thank you

Thank you Anncardiff, I think I managed just now back to establish the Dinton Reuben married in Dinton, so as unusual as the name is, not my old rogue,
Really impressed with the information you all produce. Had my first visit to a bucks record office today and quickly discovered I need a set plan and not to butterfly around. The big database that you can drill into is only available on a Tuesay but the local Family History Society help on a Tuesday and they found RS in the marriage records for me.
So much to learn and understand but a worthwhile exercise I'm finding.
Thank you all again xx :-)

Thank you Tenerife Sun
Is the possible deduction, Mary' s brother is James Riddle and Hannah is the child of his wife Ann albeit by Reuben Saunders? I guess more likely another sibling of Mary?
I have some scribbled notes that Hannah may have siblings. I have C 1851 by them which indicates I used that census, Eliza 19, Jane 13, Sophia 7. I think on the 1861 there is an Ann Riddall aged 67. I may have taken these from the UKcensusonline website as don't have ability to drill into, so surmising
I really appreciate your help thank you
Graham :-)
