According to Lancashirebmd the death for Charles just posted states he was 54, of London Road district, so a possibility, might be worth checking for this one in 1851, even if just to eliminate him: |

This is pure speculation, as no ages were given at death, but there is this one: |

Those 2 are proving much harder nuts to crack. Thanks for all the help with Priscilla, sooooooooooo glad we appear to have cracked that mystery. |

Sorry, but I can't see an earlier baptism for a child to Thomas and Priscilla though - well not in the Manchester records. |

Looks like Thomas was left a widower pretty quickly. |

Could be Betsy 'Tildsley', that's what it looks like to me anyhow. |

Think that death for Mary Huntsworth is for Charles (1805) half-sister, she never married but had an illegitimate daughter, namely Louisa, 1871 Census finds them living together, Mary working as a Milliner, Louisa as a Teacher |

Yes she is the one I'm interested in Flip. I have her up to 1861, living in Lancashire. Wonder if she married under either the UNSWORTH/HUNSWORTH spelling. Wouldn't be the first if she did. If you look at FreeBMD you will see a marriage for George Herbert Huntsworth. I have that cert and it's been amended, the spelling of the surname on the actual cert is UNSWORTH. |

The 1883 marriage for Priscilla to Thomas Grundy found by Reggie must be for the daughter of Charles Jnr - they are on 1911 census: |

Yes it is, Reggie. Particularly with regard to knowing that Priscilla appeared to be alive when her brother married. |
