Can anyone please show the household of a Victor Price given as born in 1911 and living in the Wolstanton District of Staffordshire in the 1911 Census Index.Looking on Staffordshire BMD I believe he is the Victor Price showing as born in the Burslem Sub-District in 1910 with a mother's maiden name of Rowley.I believe he is the son of a Sampson Price and my relative a Rachel Rowley who married at Wolstanton in 1904. |

Thanks for your reply. This Sampson apparently dies in 1913.I had listed Victor and Harold Sampson Price born later in 1911 as their sons.Oh dear! |

I'm finding that this Rowley family of mine of Burslem are more difficult than any of my Jones families here in Wales! |

Re my post at 14.57 for the 1911 census for Peter and Harriet Price with son Victor. I found this marriage where Peter Price married Harriet Rowley. I think they are the parents of the Staffordhire birth record for a Victor MMN Rowley |

It would seem more probable that the child referred to in 1911 is Gladys. A 5-year old child is more likely that a 4-month old baby to be away from its parents |
