maureen, you gave the hint with Thomas & Julia, so I looked up Julias maiden name. Mackintosh. That rang a bell, looked in my tree and there she was. I could of checked my tree for other Stotts first :-D |

we always thought Norah was a daughter of my gr gr grandmother Isabella Young nee MacKintosh. But couldnt find her, thinking she was called Norah Young. She was the daughter of Isabella's sister Julia. I even had Thomas Stott in my tree, but without any additional info. It was only yesterday when I found out that she was born Norah Stott. She probably lived with her aunt Isabella (my gr-gr-grandmother) when she came to Sunderland abt 1900. |

I don't know why I'm leaning towards Thomas and Julia STOTT as her parents. |

Well done Maureen - missed that one! It does indeed look like Stott. Great find. Doesn't help though does it, what a pity. |
