To repeat what I said before, there is no Mildred Beazley (or variant spelling) born anywhere in England / Wales 1916 - 20, with mms Wilson. |

To anybody who comes across this thread, some years on, I can confirm that I requested and recieved the birth certificate from GRO for Mildred Wilson 1918 Sept LAMBETH 01D 489 highlighted by ArgyllGran above. |

Janique still seems to be a member and you could contact her by clicking on her name and send a pm. If she has still got the same email address she will get a notification from Genes. Otherwise it is unlikely that she would find your post after all this time. |

If Janique was correct in saying that "it says mildred wilson beazley on the birth certificate" (and it's still not clear if she had actually seen the document herself or was just taking her aunt's word for it ) then yes, that was presumably the adoption cert. |

Cheers guys, I've pinged her an email - let's see. It looks like I might be able to request the adoption cert from GRO also? Never done that before, woudl have to take a bit of a guess as to which year she was adopted - my hunch would be 1929, after HJ Beazley's first wife had died, but before he'd married his second one (Ellen). |
