Miranda, you can find out quite a bit by using Freebmd and Familysearch and some other free sites. It's also possible to take a two week free trial on some sites, and as long as you cancel before they take money from your credit card, you can find out quite a lot in that time.

Credits are expensive unless you know exactly what you're looking for, so always ask on here and people will help if they can.

No it only gives mother's maiden names after 1911, hold on I'll see if I can spot him on the LMA records ( London records on Ancestry)

No nothing definite enough as there are several of the same name, and some came from Scotland. That is one cert you will have to buy I think unless some one else can spot it.

just found out in answer to your question earlier larrys dad laurence died in july 1968
in chelsea st stephens hospital now know as chelsea and westminster hes buried in morden cemetry in london

Miranda the only Hynan death I can see for 1968 is this, which would seem to match up with the Irish details posted... do you think Laurences father might have been John Laurence Hynan...and used middle name within the family?

i think that could be him But i thought he was john joseph hynan maybe he wasnt...

John Joseph, looking back through the thread, is definitely not the same person as his death was 1994. I think the marriage cert is the only way to go really, see what names and ages are listed.
