Mike the census in 1861 states the girls are named Mary and Sarah Hack and the births are registered as Hacks. John Hack is claiming them and says he's a widower whilst Elizabeth is still a Taylor and says she's married, no claim on the girls at this time. This only happens at their Christening when the surname isn't important. |

There could have been a quiet wedding on the Friday. The Christening was on the Sunday, all the Christening I've been to were Sundays. The dates of birth on the Christening ties up with a last quater 1862 registration of the birth. |
