Find Ancestors

I can't find anything on Familysearch for a baptism for William and I looked for probate but nothing there.

As to William's marriage.............nothing so far.

Just found this on Roots Web/Chat. There are also notes about how the Hatchard family are related to the Ferry/Pickering family through this marriage so going to take a long slow read through it all.

Thanks for that Londonbelle. Milford def ties in and also just looking so does the father's name William and age for Caroline.
I know on the roots website I mentioned above some of the names are listed e.g Phoebe Hatchard so well worth me looking into further.

The marriages listed above do not show a William Ferry as you say but looking on FREEBMD there is an entry and the actual image lists a William Ferry marriage in Lymington. All of the above names you list are also stated on here?

Also on Ancestry there are lots of family trees that list Alice E M Ferry parents William CHEEK Ferry and Caroline Hatchard so do think we are on the right track with this one :-)

Well this is the other half of the marriage to Caroline Hatchard as it is the same numbers but they seem to have messed things up good and proper.

The year is totally wrong for a start being transcribed as 1872 instead of 1846 but the numbers are correct and this is what the other names on the page are!!!!!

I have just had a look at some of those trees on Ancestry and they have William Chick Ferry with parents William and Mary Young Chick and his father as William and mother Mirium both born Dorset and then I found this marriage on IGI familysearch.
