I wonder if this is Rose in 1871?
1871 census
RG number: RG10 Piece: 28 Folio: 49 Page: 2 Reg. District: Kensington Sub District: St John Paddington Parish: Paddington
Address: St Mary Hospital, Cambridge Place, Paddington, Paddington, London County: London, Middlesex
CHAMBERLAIN, Rose Nurse F 36 1835 Middlesex
Born St George's Hanover. States she's a widow but it's not uncommon for separated women to say that to avoid stigma. Could explain why the boys are with grandparents if she's working.

Interesting:
THE LONDON GAZETTE - 25 April 1856 BANKRUPTS George Chamberlain the younger, 90 Crawford Street, Marylebone. Lead merchant, glass cutter, plumber, painter and glazier
As it's referring to George the younger then I reckon that must be George b1822. Perhaps that's why he's alone on later census - could his marriage have failed when he went bankrupt?

BM - you need to refresh your screen more often!
I've posted above about Mundia so that should work for you. Those trees have the parents of George born 1801 (actually 1798) on it. You wouldn't get a certificate as such (they didn't come in until 1837) you'd have to try for a baptism record.

I signed up ages ago but never used it, do I have to pay to view tree's etc?
Thank you for your help.
Just one last question, how can I obtain a certificate that will tell me who the mother and father is of George Chamberlain b. C.1801?
Thanks :-)

BM - are you a member of ancestry? There are a few trees on there that has this Chamberlain family.
If you're not then register with Mundia (an Ancestry spin-off). It's free and you can search and view public Ancestry trees and contact owners. http://www.mundia.com/gb/

Thank you.
I am guessing that Rebecca Walters is a second wife to George Chamberlain snr?
And that William Chamberlain listed in the 1851 census is the son of Rebecca and George snr?
So would it be possible to find a first wife if there was one to George snr?

Found them in 1841:
CHAMBERLAIN, George M 40 1801 - Lead and glass work CHAMBERLAIN, George M 15 1826 Middlesex - assistant WALTERS, Rebecca F 20 1821 Middlesex
Piece: 679 Book/Folio: 7/15 Page: 23 Registration District: Marylebone Civil Parish: St Marylebone Municipal Borough: Marylebone
Address: Crawford Street, St Marylebone, Marylebone County: Middlesex
I'm guessing that Rebecca Walters is George snr wife in 1851.
Bearing in mind ages were rounded down to the nearest 5, George jnr could be up to 19 years old.

Hello again BM - you're right to keep the latest request on here as some of the other info could come in useful.
BM - where did you get George's birth year as 1830?

Hi, Thank you so much for your help but I need some more help.
Seeing as the man I am trying to find is connected to the people in this thread I thought I would just add it here.
George Chamberlain Born c.1830 London Occupation: Glass Cutter
Married Roaslie Morgan 19th Jan 1851
Had two sons, George Thomas Chamberlain b.1852 d. 1918(He 'married' Annie Aikenhead) and William Chamberlain b.1854 who married Rebbeca Peterson in 1882
I just can't seem to find anything about George Chamberlain b. c.1830 apart from his married to Rosalie.
Any help would be much appreciated. :-)
Thanks.

I think that William is correct Catherine - that is the name of the grandfather on the 1861.
Looking at the two marriage records I think the first names on the London record should read the same as on the Pallots.
