Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out when my great grandfather arrived with his family in South Australia.
I have searched passenger lists with no luck.
This is the information I have:
My g/grandfather was William Lee born 1885 in the UK.
His parents were Eliza and Charles Lee.
His siblings are unknown.
He is listed on the 1891 UK Census'
He was married in South Australia in 1908.
So he must have come to Australia with his family between 1892 and 1907.

Charles Lee born Hants Basingstoke and Eliza born HertsTring.

This could be the wrong family.
I say this because my great-great grandfather Charles Lee did not die until 1929 (he died age 71).
So Eliza was not a widow in 1911.
Also she had already purchased some land in North Adelaide, South Australia by 1911.
Eliza died in 1933 aged 78. So unless the census is incorrect the above Eliza is about 10 years older.

Flip can you find the family on the 1901 as I can't.

You said in your OP that William was on the 1891 census - could you post the details please?

Mel, I can't find them in 1901 either - but it looks like it's the wrong family now, if they were already in Aus. by 1911

Charles Lee would have been born in 1858 (as he died aged 71 in 1929)
Eliza would have been born in 1855 (as she died in 1933 aged 78).
So I am very sorry but I think we have the wrong family.
I know that I have the correct years of death as I have visited their graves.
I have searched records of births in Australia for William but without any success.
William died in 1967.
I have no further information on the family.
The first bit of information about William Lee in Australia is that he got married in 1908.

The above information is definitely "my" Charles Lee.
They owned 2 houses at 76 and 78 Margaret Street, North Adelaide.
Their son William lived next door in No.76 with his wife Fanny and their family.
I do not have (and have never seen) William Lee's marriage certificate.
