Well, unless somebody has a better idea (very possible!) I suggest you try tracing her husband's family -remotely possible they might know a bit more. |

If she has the same name and address, looks like she was unmarried, so there is basically nothing to look for.. You can still check that electoral register, just on the off-chance it offers a clue, but I can't see any other children so it's a very long shot. Laura would be 92 or so now if she is still with us, and who can say what she knew about her mother's family. |
