Can anyone help me to find birth records for my mother and other siblings? No trace anywhere? She died in 1986 and always said she was born on Waterloo Station. I thought she was joking, but now I think she might be right. She told me in 1979ish that she had difficulty getting a passport because of the lack of birth certificate. My grandmother was flighty, to be polite! Thanks in advance. |

Mother's name: Ruby Eileen Patricia Brewer (maiden name) - could also be Shore! The siblings I can't find are Joan (no idea of other names) and George. There are many more, but I have found those. My grandmother was Violet EE Gaylard originally, then married W E G Shore in 1909 and the names I have given were born subsequently. George was the oldest of the three, known as Shore, while Ruby and Joan were known as Brewer. Also, no trace of my grandmother after 1901 until 1930's! Any help at all - I would be chuffed! :-) |

Have you got the marriage cert for W E G Shore? |

Also - don't think she remarried. She ran off with L Brewer and some of the children were left behind and others born! She used Brewer name. |
