Hi there,

I am looking for my relation Jane Pattison (born c. 1849 in Great Driffield, Yorkshire). I suspect her birth place is not recorded accuratley as I have already looked for her without success. I know she died in either 1913/1918 as I have today received an email answering this question I emailed a register office. She apparently died in the Ripon District (Yorkshire).

She was the wife of David Pattison born c. 1848 in Chilton, County Durham.

In earlier life, he was a hawker/tinner. I don't his exact occupation in 1911 but I imagine it was still hawker/tinner.

Possible children living at home would be:

Oh thank you so much! I have been looking for this for such a long time. They have obviously got their birthplaces mixed up! That with the incorrect surname explains a lot.

Peter - The first family I posted on the previous page in 1911 with Mary and William Pattison and others is actually how the family included David Pattison and his wife Jane with children William and Mary have been incorrectly listed on Anc----try.

On the actual image they are the same family as Allotment listed on the previous post but from FMP. I posted it to show why you must have find it so difficult to find the family and was going to add the correct detials, but Allotment had already posted them.
