What's the name & occupation of Joseph's father?

I'm wondering if it's another case of the fathers names being mixed up, when written onto the marriage cert?

Edward Yoxall, who married Florence Alice Baitrum in 1919, was a French Polisher.

Can't be many Yoxall French Polishers married to Baitrums.

This is pure speculation as I have no dates for him, but if this is Joseph's birth....

Just to add, the 1911 census that Jude posted for Sarah & Charles Baitrum at 43 Crondall Street Hoxton, they are Florence Alice Baitrum's brother & sister.

No Jude, it's not just you. Charles Baitrum is still living in Crondall Street in 1939, but when you go along the street, it goes no higher than no. 63!!

and ancestry shows a third child ...... also a daughter

So, living at 81, Crondall Street in 1939 was Alfred George Hall and family. Unfortunately, that doesn't help.

ChristinaS, that does help!! Violet married Joseph H Hall in 1939. His father must have been Alfred George Hall. So Violet married from her inlaws address!
