Hi Marie The grooms father was listed as deceased on the cert. so going by that I'm presuming if arthur was deceased it too would be on the certificate. I cant remember the names of the other children but I remember they came from the Staffs area. Could the ' Ada widow' that is mentioned in probate be Arthurs eldest daughter Florence Ada (she would be in her 80's now) or his sister |

Sorry, Marie Celeste, I'm getting myself confused... if Arthur was around for the 1949 wedding he wouldn't have died the year before would he! Oh well we'll call it a senior moment and forget I mentioned it. |

No Lynne - you're not confused at all! Now you've mentioned about the groom's father it does make sense. The two deaths I posted on the last page were possibles but, given what you say, are unlikely. |
