Hi I am trying to find details on above for a friend in Canada. He was believed to be an orphan born or lived in Bristol or Gloucestershire He sailed to Canada to work on a farm and married Irene Agnes Cameron. |

Hi Patchem, my friend says the family are sure he came from Gloucestershire probably Bristol area. Would he have just put his birthplace in Canada on the census in error ? |

Details could be a match Andy. I will pass on to friend to see if any other names on census, fit in with her family tree. She says he was an orphan and probably went to Canada to seek his fortune. |
