Sorry, been away from computer.
Bipper - his name is with hers at bottom of page 1!
Robert W Arthur
ie Arthur is his surname.
Not completely convinced though yet as there is a Robert W Arthur death in Bristol which says born 1890 so he'd be 13 years younger than her.

thats great Tempest, I presume in the 1901 census, the mother is now a widow so her husband Edward/Edwin passed away sometime after the birth of his last child Adelaide b 1884. also Florence has two girls.....Elise and Cissie.
janice, sorry for being a bit dumb here. Ellen married in 1917 to?

hello Reggie, I have googled their names, i might have more success if i knew their married name. scouring the marriage records. I have no idea at the moment where they lived. The parents moved to South Wales with the youngest daughter Adelaide.

If you have any idea of location, try the local newspaper for the area - check if they have an archivist
You could also google the possible name(s) for the murderess

who they married and if one of them was a murderer. The family story is that one of them murdered her two children and was sentenced to death. Her excuse was that she suffered blackouts and could not remember the devilis deed. Whilst in prison awaiting sentence she suffered several of these blackouts, thus the death sentence was reduced to life.
hmmmm quite a fanciful tale.
