Maybe Maureen just wants advice on procedure so she can search herself. |

You can search Find My Past by occupation in 1911, but you also have to include a first or surname. This also applies to most earlier censuses |

Hi To anyone who can help please, I have my great grandfather on my Grandads marriage certificate but cannot find him anywhere, I would like to enter his profession (retired police inspector) to see if this helps with a census search but there is no facility for this that I can see he was alive in 1912 thats all I know I have tried census searches with father and son names but nothing seems to work, thanks |
