Having done such a brilliant job for me on Reginald Fisher, I wonder if you could find any census information for me on his brother Louis. He was born in Leeds in 1888 and as can be seen from the obit above died in Calgary in 1983. He didn't seem to be with Reginald in the census info you gave me for Reginald. Also I wonder where he married his wife, Lily Grange Parker ( previously married in England to a Kendall).
I'd be so greatful for your help.

EDIT: I'm not too convinced that they all arrived together - Louis seems very young to be Enid's father, might she be Lily's from her first marriage?

Someone on Ancestry has Enid's birth certificate. She was born 18/05/1906 in Wetherby to Francis Kendall, a gardener, and Lily Grange Kendall formerly Parker.

Well, well! I've seen Francis and Lilly's marriage certificate and he was a gardener, living Shadwell. His father was Robert, an engine driver. They married 07/10/1905.

Looks like the marriage didn't work out and he was back with his family in 1911:

Enid was the daughter from the previous marriage. I haven't found a marriage for Louis in England, so assumed they married in Canada...obviously not. Were they in Calgary by 1916?

Edwina - they couldn't have (legitimitely) married. Lilly was still legally married to Francis. There was very very rarely divorce then for ordinary people - way too expensive.

Not seeing them on anything after 1911 so guess they may still have been in NS for a while.

Lily Grange Parker looks like the name on Roy's b.cert, but it's hard to make it out.

Births are only available to 1910 (I assume 1911 is released but not yet online).
Roy's birth would preclude another birth by census day (1/6/1911).
Amhurst is almost on the Bay of Fundy and almost on the NS-NB border.
