I have my 3 x great grandfathers marriage certicates from the GRO... and the certicate says Widow

It would appear that i am looking for a marriage between a male Gregson to a female Rowbottom or variat of spelling

Mark, is it her father's name that you're struggling to make out as that would be her maiden name?

On the 1901 Martha's birthplace is shown as Edale, so this could well be her in 1891:

Mark, where exactly on the certificate does it saw Roebottom?

What does it give as her father's name?

In the section where it states fathers name - also states deceased

.. and can you make out the father's first name? Does it give his late occupation?
