what is the forename of your great grandfather?

Ann, I'm sorry I wanted to know everything I could about her e.g dates, places. I was given the challenge to see if I was related to her. I really don't know where I'm going to start. The Fitton line on my tree is off my father's side, they all came from Manchester, so far the furthest I've gone back to is 1849. The Fittons in my tree are: myself b 1959, my dad, John Keith b 1934, my grandad, John Kenneth b 1910, my great grandad, John b 1876, my great great grandad b 1849.
Any help would be appreciated.
