Having difficulty working this family line out I have birth/marriage/Military record,1911 census of Alexander Macpherson born 21/02/1862 in Ann Place,Old Machar,Aberdeen,Scotland, died 1928 Portobello,Edinburgh,Scotland. |

The 1871 census seems correct any idea of Street name was it Ann Place, are there any other census years as this is when it all went wrong, but I believe the 1871 census is correct |

I kept getting the feeling either I was missing a John McPherson or he married twice, not sure just information from census's was not coming up. |

I'm thinking that maybe the combs were not combs for combing your hair but combs as used in the linen industry |
