Can anyone tell me if there is a way of looking up an address to find out who lived there in 1908 it could be the break through to finding my grandfathers parents. |

Thanks Jonesey and Christina but the Census dont help as the 1901 Census is too early and the 1911 is too late. They moved around a lot. |

Although on the 1901 and 1911 censuses there are several, unrelated, people living at 18, Northampton Street - the only person who shows up on the 1908 electoral roll for that address is Henry Prince. |

Very few people were eligible to vote in 1908, so the chances of finding relevant info are not good. |

Hi Louise, |

Women certainly didn't have the right to vote in 1908, so the aunt will not be recorded, wherever she lived. |

Could he not be Edith the daughters child? |

That is another possibility we had thought of that Edith's daughter was his mother but she would of been older than 16. |

Is this the 'aunt'? |

Ivy (the one you have in message above) is who I am thinking can be a possibility for the mother, her mother was Emily Cooper nee Cleak sister of Edith Louisa Gay nee Cleak and sister of Annie C Brazier nee Cleak. |
