I have in my notes that Doris had a brother called Leslie and a sister called Phylis, i just didn't mention it as i had searched forever and found nothing so didn't want to waste your times, obviously i should just leave it to the experts!! Haha. Seriously i am very excited as i have searched for so long and found nothing. Thank you as i am definitely sure that is her. As for birth record I'm not sure as her death record says Doris M Rawlinson? I know she died young and it was in liverpool that she died as my great aunt remembers it well. I really do appreciate your help, thank you so much. |

Thanks Potty. I would be happier if I could find any of the family on earlier census. Just to satisfy myself! |

What does that mean. Are they definitely same people? Doesn't take a lot to get me confused. Would the father have been away acting do you think? Also am just wondering why the death record says Doris M Rawlinson. Did people just add names on then? Thankyou so much both of you. Root gatherer u are a star! |

Emma, it looks like Herbert was indeed away acting when the 1901 census was taken. That's him above in Eastbourne. |

thankyou for all this wonderful information. Rootgatherer i just looked at both copies of 1901 cenus and 1911 cenus and wondered if maybe Ethel and Harriet were different women/wives? It's just that the womens ages don't agree on both cenus but the childrens do. Am i making sense? |
