Now this IS interesting and new, Vera!
The cottage is actually OUBAS, I found it whilst looking for something else.
So Mary is William P's daughter, never marries or has children. Dies 1954 owning Oubas Cottage. Estate would then revert to siblings, there are none. Parents, both dead. Parent's siblings and their issue. The people listed are her fathers siblings, so presumably her mother had none, or they died without issue? That will be my next task.

I think her mother (Mary Long) had a few siblings
lan-opc gives what must be the baptism of Mary (abode Garithwiate) and there are several other children with what appears to be the same parents
edit
just had another quick look and Mary is the only one with abode Graithwaite - all the ones before and more importantly the one after have the abode of Elmwell

Well Richard and Thomas Long are Will P's BIL staying with them in 1871, both say they are married, though Thos is still there in 1881 and says he is single.

Thanks Vera, well done!
I have found 6 baptisms altogether on lancsopc to Mary and William Long. 1832 Mary, 1834 John, both of Graythwaite, bap Finsthwaite. 1835 Nicholas, 1837 Richard, 1839 Agnes, 1841 William, those bap at Ulverston. Can't find a baptism for Thomas on lancsopc.
Interesting to think the family may have lived in that cottage for 100 years!

Nearly done now, thanks to some excellent help on here!
Just the last bit now.
From number 3, issue of John Pennington.
John and Edna Broughton are his grandchildren, Edna married Harry Highley in 1927. Their mother appears to be Sarah Pennington b 1859 in Backbarrow, married Richard Broughton in 1880 in Skipton.
Annie Pennington is one of John's daughters, married Robert Sumner in 1910 in Preston. Can some kind person please look up this couple in 1911, as I can't find a birth or baptism for Annie?

That'll be them, Dea, thanks. He was Robert C, and she would be born at Haverthwaite.
Yes, the dates are rather strange. I'll check for a second marriage.
Edit. The mother would have been 47 in 1884, so not impossible.
