If you have access to Scotlands people you can download the images from there - instead of sending off to a Records office, you pay credits to see images of the originals as written in the church records books and you can then print/save to computer etc. An advantage over the English system. £7 for 30 credits - 1 credit to see results of searches and 5 credits to view each record (and print) |

If they were CAtholic and the eldest childwas born pre their marriage, maybe would account for not finding a Baptism - I searched 1845-1854 surname Mclean with varients, Father Peter, Mother Mary. |
