I am trying to find the MOTHER of a distant relative: 'George Edward Victor WHILE'.
The UK record of Victor's death in 1976 suggests that he was born on 20 June 1913.
My problem is that Victor is thought to have been born somewhere in CANADA (or possibly the USA), before moving to England with his father around 1913.
His father was Horace Reginald WHILE (born Aston, Birmingham, England, in 1878).
Little or nothing is known of the fate of Victor's mother (possibly Emily Ann While, nee CAPPER?), who apparently died in Canada around 1913.
I would be most grateful for any help. Thank you.
Victor

Thank you all for this useful info. One of the problems I have faced is that the name 'WHILE' has often been transcribed as 'WHITE' in the records!
Another is that Horace Reginald WHILE re-married after returning to Liverpool in 1913. His second marriage, to Ada JELLICOE, was in 1922. Horace died in 1959.
I suspect that Horace married his first wife, Emily Ann CAPPER, around 1896, and that the couple emigrated to Canada around 1906 with some children. George Edward Victor WHILE was apparently born in Canada in about 1913, just before Horace returned to England with some children - (but no wife!) Had Emily Ann While (nee CAPPER) died (perhaps in childbirth) whilst in Canada?
Who was the mother of George Edward Victor WHILE, and where in Canada was 'Victor' born?
I need help to access Canadian records, if possible.
Thank you all for your interest and help.
Regards Victor

Unfortunately you wont find the birth just yet.. 100 year ruling.
It looks like Emily may have died with complications after giving birth to George (Victor) as she dies within 2 weeks of his birth.
