Not seeing an obvious registration, but as there was no pressure on parents to register births until about 1874 many were not registered. |

It was this site that I checked for the birth details for James Usher !! Thanks for the correct volume number. This is the right census for Francis Usher. I just thought it was strange that they registered James but not Francis. |

just as a matter of interest - on some versions of the birth index the volume number was written in roman numerals eg vol 20 written as XX and which I think is translated by freebmd |
