ref; my Eliza Mcgee nee rowson,have since found the birth cert.(after taken nearly 3 years!)of her daughter,Sarah Ellen Wheat.Have got in touch with lost cousin ,who was able to tell me,Sarah had a half brother with the surname,Marsden.Marston or Marson??So eventually have found "My Sarah" as born in 1894 12th feb.(we know this as her birth date) mothers name Elizabeth Marsden formerly Lockett! |

I think the evidence gievn on page 2 shows that she was never pickles and didn't marry James McGee |

hello,I was going by surname Rowson on Eliza Mcgee marriage cert. to Thomas Birchall in 1914(Elizas dad being Thomas Rowson deceased)Her agebeing 46 years in oct.1914,making her birth 1868.Therefore i found the Staffordshire birth for 1868. |

seems Eliza wasnt a Pickle after all!Think i will try and get her birth cert.will verify her parents names.How she got from Rowson to Mcgee is a mystery.Not unless her real father was a Mcgee and Rowson step father..........kind regards to all :-) :-) |

If the 1914 marriage cert. states that Eliza's father was Thomas Rowson, then surely the marriage Pickles/McGee can not be her! |

on 4 oct 1881 a charles allerton married sarah wass aged 36 in dresden ( almost Longton- borders it) |
