Mary's maiden name i have as Bellamy. As of the top of the page.

They married in 1853, Newington London,Surrey

The info matches what I have although there is a difference ot first name either it is what I have Mary or Margaret?

Cilve, how have you got back to this couple? Are they direct ancestors? If so, have you got birth and marriage certs to take you back to them? You really need the birth cert of one of the children to confirm the mother's name.

Looking at the image of the 1881 census, I don't think she is Margaret - it looks more like Maryam (could be Maryann). Further down the page Margaret is abbreviated to Margt.

Thanks for that I'm go confused by the first reply as in my reseach some time ago a researcher had given me these details. Are you able to tell me then who Thomas Forsdick marry is it Margaret or Mary as there is confictiving info. Or did Thomas have two wives.

You didn't answer the question, Clive. Are these direct ancestors? If so which child are you descended from? Your best bet is to get that child's birth certificate to get mother's maiden name.

Thomas was married to a Mary Ann. The only census with him married to a Margaret is the 1881 and, as I said above, the image is not Margaret.
