there is no easy way to look at the website. If you know the church concerned it is just a case of trawling using freebmd to give an idea of year and qtr |

Hello, does anybody know if you are able to get Electoral Roll records for 1921? I know the census for then isnt due to be released for another 10 years, but i was wondering if i could find that and i could then possibly find out who Mary Ann (1891 my great grandmother) was living with at the time? |

Hiya, Ive seen register for that marriage and it says that the mary ann in this record is 27, but it doesnt add up with the 1911 census as she is 20 on that, there is another record for 1920 but not sure if thats right, i think i have had a break through with samuels father john, someone found a census where samuel was listed as a grandson, and a son called william, i found a later census where william has brother listed as john but just a few years younger, that was 1881 but i am still looking for a record for samuel for that year, census is just whoever is in the house on that day isnt it? so possibly he was somewhere else with his mother, i think i have found a census for 1851 for samuels father john but i only have a standard account and ive already spent loads on credits the last few days :-\ |

I just noticed on one of the census records that when mary ann (birth year 1891) was 10 they lived on elizabeth street i found a record for a william young (there is speculation in our family that she married a man by this name) who lived on elizabeth street also, I am probably getting ahead of myself but I have just become very excited!! thanks for all your info Jax!! |
