So Grace died in 1906. Unusual to have an estate at all, let alone more than £200. And her father was a timber yardsman. |

has anyone came across any information maybe as to who alice may 1903 dad was? as we are not totaly sure if grace had alice out of wedlock . thankyou |

Hi Donna. Well, it was unusual in the early 1900s for most families to even draw up wills (they couldn't afford solicitors fees and didn't know what wills were for), and most unusual for working-class families to have any money that they could pass on after death. |
